So often in my practice I see people who WANT to get better, but they have a huge emotional block to healing. Whether it be from negative thought patterns that effect their food choices, self-sabotaging behavior, or truly their condition is a result of an emotional wound that they have yet to address. Listen, when it comes to healing and health, you can eat as healthy as possible, take all the supplements you want, but if your subconscious is constantly reinforcing negative beliefs… guess what? There will still be “dis-ease” and inflammation! You’ll get better in some ways, but it won’t quite be that optimal level you’re hoping for, leaving you feeling stuck. We ALL have stuff! TRUST ME. And we always will. But we have to be willing to look at the dark side of ourselves and DO THE WORK to get to a healthier place. Luckily, there are so many amazing resources available that can help us navigate our way through this! I use an emotional healing technique in my own practice, my husband uses EFT, a good friend who I often refer clients to uses emotion code as well as her own intuitive gifts, and these are just a few examples! There’s also Eden Energy Medicine, acupuncture, reiki, and so many more! And they all serve a purpose! In Louise Hay’s book, Heal Your Body, she says: “The mental thought patterns that cause the most dis-ease in the body are CRITICISM, ANGER, RESENTMENT, and GUILT. For instance, criticism indulged in long enough will often lead to dis-eases such as arthritis. Anger turns into things that boil, burn, and infect the body. Resentment long held festers and eats away at the self and ultimately can lead to tumors and cancer. Guilt always seeks punishment and leads to pain. It’s so much easier to release these negative thinking patterns from our minds when we’re healthy than to try to dig them out when we’re in a state of panic and under the threat of the surgeon’s knife.” Love yourself enough to get to the truth of the matter. You are worth it and you DO deserve it.
