Are You Willing To Do What It Takes To Heal?

March 1, 2019May 14, 2019Leave a comment

So often in my practice I see people who WANT to get better, but they have a huge emotional block to healing. Whether it be from negative thought patterns that effect their food choices, self-sabotaging behavior, or truly their condition is a result of an emotional wound that they have yet to address. I really wish our society would give nature more credit. I have seen so many amazing success stories from just eating the right food! I had a client who was overweight, on several medications, she had lost nearly all of her hair, very poor thyroid function, really low kidney function, high blood pressure and high cholesterol... she was dealing with a lot! I put her on a nutritional program that was really just designed to take the stress off of her body. We also added supplements to support detoxification and liver health, thyroid support, and kidney support as well. She was committed! She stuck to it 100% and within one year, she had lost over 100lbs - with no exercise, just food alone! She was off all of her medications, her hair grew back, her thyroid and kidneys tested within a healthy range, and she no longer had high blood pressure or high cholesterol.⠀
Weekly check in! How are you feeling? Do you need to schedule some alone time? Are you saying yes to too many things? Are you feeling the weight of the world? What can you do to lighten your load? Be sure to ask for help if you need it, and say NO when your heart isn't in it!
Yes, this is really me! 😂 thank you to all of my vigilant friends who wanted to protect me from scammers! You're the best 💖💖💖 I created a personal account for friends and family who don't want to be bombarded with health information but would like to see pictures of my real life 😂💖
I think it's funny how I used to be skeptical of everything that I do today. Years ago, I had my own healing crisis that required me to really take a step back and look at things differently, because what I was doing was not working for me. I was in my 20s, I was in the industry of health and wellness, I was a nutritional therapist - I should have felt amazing with all of the things I was doing to try to take care of my body. From supplements and the way I was eating, I was doing all of the "right" things. I mean, don't get me wrong, I was able to heal a lot of things that had been issues for me previously, but... if I was really doing it all the right way for MY body, I shouldn't have felt like complete garbage most of the time. ⠀
